Hello.  This is a campaign for my son Kyle and his dog, Mira.  Kyle was born without eyesight and has managed to go his whole life happy and otherwise healthy.  3 years ago, we got him a Guide dog.  Kyle and Mira are inseperable. 

Last month, we were noticiing some problems with Mira and got her to the vet.  They found a mass in her abdomen, on her liver, and ran some tests.  A week later we got a call that the mass needed to be removed and they needed to do a liver lobectomy, whereby they will remove half of the liver.  

We are besides ourselves on what we should.  We obviously need to do everything we can to get the surgery.  We haven't told Kyle yet because we don't think he will take the news well.  As well as being blind, he is a teenage boy and all the temperament that comes with it.  So we are trying to raise the money here.  We don't allow Kyle to have a Facebook page due to bullies and cyber predators, but we are using it now to save Mira.
