THE MISSION OF THE FILM
Preacher Man is an independent film that has as it's aim to reach film audiences from around there world through sowing the seeds of the 'good news' of the Gospel message without being 'preachy.' Many Christian films today often come across too preachy, either that or they target mainly Christians. We are not trying to target Christians but rather the lost. We believe Christians and non-Christians alike will find this film entertaining but will also be able to clearly the see that there is a message in it. What better way to help spread the good news of the Gospel than through an entertaining film.
What is the Film About?
Although the synopsis is below, the film is about how God can use anyone to accomplish His Will, even if that person is intending evil. It is a film that shows how God can transform the heart of a man for good.

Film Synopsis:
An escaped convict, Dan Flanigan, poses as a small town preacher in order to evade capture as well as steal money from the church, but con's plight changes when he comes to care for congregation and in particular, the deacon's daughter, Sarah. When Dan learns that a rich land baron is trying to force the church off their land through the use of under-the-table tactics, Dan decides to fight fire with fire.
WHAT HAVE WE DONE?
In 2015, Saving Oscar Productions and GodZone teamed up to produce an independent family / thriller called, "Something in the Woods." While this film is in the early stages of distribution, the film has received great reviews from both fans and film critics. You can learn more about that here. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How is this film different from other Christian films?
The message will not be different but how we present it will be. Some, not all Christians films occasionally come across as 'cheesy' or 'preachy' and we are approaching it differently. Everything in this production will be top notch. We will have a great cast and an experienced crew to bring this vision alive and to plant seeds of the Gospel in a way that we feel will have the greatest impact.
2. When will you start shooting this film?
As soon as we have funding in place, we will immediately go into pre-production and then principle photography. Our hope is to start within 6 months or less.
3. Will this film go to theaters?
It is our plan to have this film hit selected theaters throughout USA and possibly all theaters if God wants it so. The cost of getting into theaters is very expensive, but all things are possible with God. We already have a DVD and VOD distribution plan in place also.

6. Is 20k enough to make a movie?
Yes and No. Our total budget is 100k but this will help us cover a ton of the production costs. Our plan is to attain 1-2 investors with this project but investors normally want to see that the production company has a high stake in the project. In our case, our stake will be $20,000. This will go a very long way in helping us to attain the funding we need to make this movie.
7. Can I have all the money you raise for this project?
No but a very good question :)
