I rescued Dennis from my great uncle who was killing Dennis by over feeding him. Dennis reached a staggering 56lbs, as of today Jan 23, 2015 Dennis is currently 13lbs. Thanks to the help of kind strangers I was able to raise $1,700.00 for Dennis' surgeries that he needed to remove excess skin from his body.

I'm so thankful for all the support I have received from others and it's time to pay that forward. My goal is to open a Fund in Dennis' name at OSU for owners who have an overweight furbaby (dog or cat) who are seeking nutritional guidance on how to get their pet healthy.

This Fund will provide those who are finically strapped: one free appointment with the nutritional at OSU Veterinarian School and one free large bag of food the nutritional prescribes. Those seeking help will need to be cleared by a Vet to make sure there aren’t medical issues causing the obesity.This will help people get a head start on fighting their pet’s obesity, while also gaining knowledge on proper nutrition and exercise for their furbabies.

This will be an on going fund and once it’s up and running I will provide the information for people to be able to send checks into his Funding at OSU. Right now I will have to talk with a lot of people to get this going and I would like to prove I have some money already to get this thing going.

Everyone deserves to give their pet a healthy, happy life and shouldn’t let finances get in the way of this.
