It was with disgust, that I read through ITV Wales' Facebook page and read an awful story regarding 87 year widow's, Mrs J Bull and family's memorial bench in memory of Mrs J Bull's late Husband - Mr Albert Bull, where an arsonist struck and burnt it to the ground in Beaufort Hill Ponds & Woodlands, in Ebbw Vale.

I have started this appeal for donations no matter how big or small in order to purchase and replace the Memorial Bench and Engraving for Mrs J Bull and her family; who are, as you can imagine, devastated over this.

I will keep the following Facebook Page to post all receipts and updates on there. 

The aim is to raise the full amount to purchase a replacement Memorial Bench, A replacement Plaque (engraved into the back rest of the memorial bench), Fixing brackets and Delivery to Beaufort Hill Ponds & Woodlands, Ebbw Vale.  However, if the full amount is not raised, I will donate all funds raised to the family of Mrs J Bull to help towards to cost of a replacement Memorial Bench.

If for any reason after purchasing the above and paying the fees for this site and PayPal, there is any money left over, no matter how small, I will donate it all to a charity of Mrs J Bull or her family's choice - ALL money will be accounted for and all proof and updates will be posted on the Facebook "Memorial Bench Appeal" page that I have set up.

I would like to thank Mr John Hillier - Director & Secretary of Beaufort Hill Ponds & Woodlands Preservation Society and his team of volunteers - whom I have been in constant contact with - for agreeing to accept the delivery of, supplying the fixings and fitting the Memorial Bench, with his team of volunteers for the family of Mrs Bull.

Joan and Albert, a former British Steel worker, would often walk at the beauty spot at Beaufort Pond during their 62 year marriage.
