This fund was created for our beautiful daughter Angelina. Angelina is 3 years old.   On June 3,2012 she had a tragic accident. She had a near fatal drowning. Angelina has suffered a hypoxic/anoxic brain injury. When she was in the hospital the doctors gave us no hope. They said she will never have any awareness; and she will be in a vegetative state. They pressured us and tried to persuade us into taking Angelina off of life support. They said she will never smile, Never breath off a ventilator, Never know us, and she would never have any quality of life. 
We decided to walk in faith, and we told them we want to take our baby home. Angelina had a tracheostomy and g-tube placed. And she was released from the hospital in August. We were in the hospital for over 2 months. We were there night and day, I prayed every day that our baby girl would know us, feel love and feel joy again. Angelina has been showing many signs of improvements, she is off the ventilator & We have been working on getting her to breathe past her trach out of her nose and mouth and she is doing great, we are hoping to have her trach removed soon.  She smiles and laughs all the time especially when you sing and play her toys with her. She is looking around more, turning towards our voices; she is gaining more head/neck control. She is becoming looser in her tone. She listens to us, and will follow  our direction sometimes. She is starting to be introduced to communication devices through her therapists. She is very alert and aware of stuff. She is a happy Baby girl, and she has taught us all about unconditional love. 
We are working with her daily, trying our best to give Angelina the best quality of life possible. . She has received a lot of therapy,  mainly HBOT therapy, PT,OT,Speech,Vision,music therapy,craniosacral, myofascial release, chiropractor, and of course what we do here at home with her... Oh, yeah, And LOTS and LOTS of love :)   We are always searching for ways to help our sweet baby girl.  She is so strong willed, and she has already done so much better then expected. We know she will continue to heal. We have been blessed to be able to help Angelina because of the help we have received. 

**We are starting this fund because Angelina will be going to Southern California June-July to receive stem cell therapy. We have an opportunity for her to also do 40 more HBOT sessions. We have already paid for the stem cell treatment, But we now need help to pay for her HBOT sessions. We are saving a huge amount of money by doing them with her stem cell procedure. We are getting the 40 sessions for 1/3 of the cost we normally pay.  So we really want to be able to raise the money needed.
