Update on Holly Laine Esposito:
WERE Kicking it up a notch!
As she is still laughing and smiling she is still fighting this battle more now than before. Her doctors have been amazing in giving her treatment "under the table" if you will and her margins are the same, so she has not made progress however she has not gotten any worse thanks to your contributions! They have kept her prescriptions coming in and paid a few bills.

I recently spent the entire day with Holly as usual she was more concerned about me and my family than herself. I have to say this is all while she had just found out her kidneys aren't working properly and she is retaining fluid now and has edema in her legs. She is sick but she doesn't let that stop her from laughing and looking at the glass half full (most of the time)!

I am amazed at how everyone has come together! It is beyond what I thought was possible. Now I see we can do this and we need to for her now more than before, we need to push the limit and get the word out to everyone and anyone including big wig companies and such!
We ALL know to this day she still would never ask for help, as she says "I love the support and am so grateful but I don't want people to pity me".

However I have to tell you something I learned about OUR HOLLY that made me admire her even more then I thought possible. The hand she was dealt in life was worse than I thought and yet she is always smiling and honestly I don't know anyone that could after what she endures.
I learned that back in 2006 while working for St. Rose Hospital and helping a patient she had her arm almost torn off. After 7 months of fighting the hospital and workers comp she had her first of many surgeries that have left her disabled with severe nerve damage to her neck, shoulder and now her spine. Holly was left with very little use of her right arm, and will eventually lose all use of her arm, however the pain will continue to get worse from the severe nerve damage. She lives in debilitating pain but instead of giving up after them telling her she wouldn't be able to work anymore and again denied any benefits or assistance (while a single mother at the time), she didn't let that stop her. She became a teacher. She doesn't talk about it except to those of you that already know. However with my own eyes the day of my visit I saw her shoulder dislocate and heard it from the living room, she quickly put in back in with a couple tries and came back and sat down with me. Although I saw the pain all over her and I use to just think it was the cancer fight but now and she lives with this and like this everyday. To think she was hurt on top of everything else is heartbreaking, but typical Holly she never said a word.

NOW I NEED you guys to know what I saw this woman go through and she does this everyday, it is truly inspiring.
This week while at her house with her, I watched her get up and fight from morning till night literally with Lawyers and SSI and other Lawyers that are supposedly handling her disability dispute against the school she works for to try and get them to step up. After knowing the harassment she underwent daily and to the point that these people should not have jobs but instead have charges brought against them, trust me its the least the school could do. Holly gets on the phone and computer everyday all day doing this. As well as looking for assistance from the state that keeps denying her to nonprofit programs that only help if you can go down there, which she cant do because she can not be in crowds. These programs all have documentation proving this yet they all still deny her. She is usually told she is "Technically still employed and the school has her on leave she doesn't qualify because her income is to high" yet she HAS NOT received a paycheck since October 5th 2012. Holly doesn't waiver even when feeling to sick to get out of bed she writes it all down to do when is up. It is incredible to see how many note books all labeled for different things from doctors and medicine to Lawyers to the School or State she has kept every letter sent to her and is fighting so hard all while sick and you can see the exhaustion but it doesn't stop her.

I am asking all of you to pass this on. It turns out that this is so much more than we thought but if anyone deserves a break and some help I cant think of someone more deserving!

WE LOVE YOU HOLLY LAINE ESPOSITO

  3. How will the funds be used?
