We have traveled 2356 miles as if 9/21/12 Please help us raise our goal. The recognition we are getiing on the road is amazing...from honking, to thumbs ups to fist pumps and even people physically asking about ALS-IT IS OUR MISSION!! My name is Robin Mower and I was diagnosed with ALS in September of 2009. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a neurogenerative terrminal disease that attacks the nerves causing them to die. The muscles become weak, then paralyzed, eventually leadiing to death. Since being diagnosed, I have been on a mission to raise awareness and to find a cure. My husband and I are hitting the road in our RV on September 14th, 2009 to raise funds and awareness one mile at a time across America. We plan to see other ALS patients, families and chapter offices along our 10-15,000 mile journey around the US. Please help support our efforts and donate to this cause. A portion of the funds raised will go towards ALS reasearch and ALS support programs. If you have any questions, please feel freee to contact me through Facebook. Thanking you in advance for your support. Robin & John Mower
