I have lived with a disability since birth, but throughout my life I have always done my best to live independently, work, raise my son, and build a normal life. Sometimes, however, life can become overwhelming when one difficult event follows another.

My name is Anzhela. I am a mother to a wonderful son, and thankfully, he is healthy.

The last chapter of my life has been incredibly difficult — both psychologically and emotionally.

I went through a divorce, a nervous breakdown, and psychological trauma caused by physical abuse in my relationship with my ex-husband. At the same time, I was working two jobs.

Then I lost a very close and important friend.

Anxiety and deep depression followed.

Eventually, my physical health also deteriorated.

A few months ago, I underwent surgery to remove two extruded cervical discs and have intervertebral disc implants placed.

My recovery is still ongoing. I need continued physiotherapy and psychological therapy, as well as time to recover physically and emotionally.

At the moment, I have lost both of my jobs because I simply became unable to work due to physical and psychological exhaustion. I am now asking for some help while I try to get back on my feet.

I am doing my best to return to my life, continue my treatment, find a new job, and hopefully begin a new and better chapter.
