So I need help getting my son to his volleyball tournament. His dad gave me last minute notice today when the tournament is this weekend. The tournament is in San Mateo, CA and we live in Reno, NV. I unfortunately have two flat tires on my vehicle since I have not been able to afford new ones and have worn them down to the point they won't hold air for any longer then a couple hours. So I would need to get at least two new tires or a rental car. Also the tournament is on the 7th until the 8th. So we would have to drive down on the 6th and stay 2 nights at a motel. I have food covered and gas. But the rental car, motel, and registration fee for the tournament I don't have covered. I don't get how it wasn't covered in the over $500 we paid for him to do volleyball but apparently it wasn't. But this is really important to my son. As well as to me because these days it seems like a huge feat to get children off of their phones and video games. I appreciate the fact that my son wants to do something other then social media or video games. I just started my job so I don't even have enough paychecks to go and try and get a loan. Can't even get a title loan since I can't drive my car anywhere right now, lol. I hate asking and if it was something for me I wouldn't. But I don't want him to miss this. So any help would be greatly appreciated and trust I will pay it forward. I've looked online at rental cars and motels. Unfortunately I need to ask for more then I would actually spend because of deposits on both things. And if need be if there's anyway I can refund any donors something back when I get deposits back I will or I will donate them to someone else on this platform to pay it forward. But total it's like $350 for a room for two children and myself for two nights and a deposit. Also the rental car would be about $150 with a refundable deposit $200 deposit. So a total of $700 would be needed even though I'm only needing to spend $550. Or if I just get tires it comes to $550 for all 4 tires plus the motel or or $450 if i just got the 2 and then the money for the motel. I found a place that will sell, mount, and balance me some tires for $45 a piece. They are used but have at least 50% tread left. If somehow someone has travel points or something and can get us a room that way then that would be just as good and work for us also. Whatever works for me as long as he doesn't miss this.
