Hello, my name is Emmanuel ... a 27 year old young man from Nigeria.
I am very pleased to have your attention for my project and I am very grateful for your support.
I was admitted as an international graduate student to Radboud University in the Netherlands (MS in Science, Management and Innovation, majoring in Biology).
This study programme is very important to me and contains the basis for my lifelong dream. This course is based on a scientific as well as economic approach. I actually see it as the MBA of the sciences.
The life expectancy in my country is very low. A vast majority of my people have no access to good health care. This especially affects the old and poor people. The majority of my compatriots have no health insurance, the power supply is dilapidated and there is no adequate water supply. People like me who cannot drill a borehole (water hole) at our houses must buy water.
With this study, I want to gain the necessary knowledge and entrepreneurial acumen to set up in my country as an initiator a health care facility with all-encompassing care as a pilot project. I sincerely hope that such a project, beginning with sensitization on health-related issues to setting up institutions that will help people secure health insurances. I believe this will find acceptance in my home country and that Nigerians will thereby gain a better quality of life. My heart's desire is to make my contribution to the wellbeing of my fellow countrymen.
The tuition fees for me, as an international student, are astronomical and have developed into a Gordian knot.
I have to pay € 26,000 to the university by July 2019.
So I decided to ask for help from this portal and worldwide.
What can I give you back?
I will report on the progress of my studies in the form of a blog to everyone who supports me with an amount of money.
