Hi all, 

I am running my first marathon on November 24 in Bodrum, Turkey, the 'Bodrun' 10K! I went from "I can't run" to "I don't like running" to "Hey, I really like running, wtf" to "I think I'll do a marathon!" But it seemed like a waste to run a marathon for nothing so here it goes: 

I am fundraising for One World Actors Animal Rescues https://www.oneworldactorsanimalrescues.org/ which is helping to feed and provide veterinary treatment to the animals trapped in war-torn Yemen's IBB zoo. I have their full permission to fundraise in their name. 

I chose this charity because while ADI and Big Cat Rescue etc. definitely need help, they do have a lot more resources and regular donors for now. For now, just keeping the cats and other animals at IBB Zoo fed and watered and cared for is important. Something more permanent, I hope, will happen later. 

Any amount helps!!! A few US dollars can go a long way in providing food for the animals and boost the morale of the men who are looking after them! 

The only destruction and evil on earth comes from people, but there are also people work against that and we should do what we can to help!
