Sylvia Scheel hasn't added a story.

With this page, I want to help and support Jay Vandiver and his family. Jay is battling his 4th round of cancer. I want at least help support Jay and his family financially so they can focus on Jay and seeing God perform another miracle in his life. Having gone through cancer 3 times before they know the out-of-pocket expenses can be drastic. Items not covered by insurance can cost thousands of dollars per month.

But first of all, let me tell you a little bit about Jay. Jay lives in Fayetteville, GA and he turned 22 last November. On his birthday, he posted the following on Facebook:

This shows what a positive attitude Jay has. He is one of the most amazing people I know, he's a true blessing to us all. He loves the outdoors, shooting, and riding his Harley.

In June of 2004, when Jay was 11 he was diagnosed with Leukemia. Jay fought that battle and won. In 2006 Jay went against a second round with Leukemia, this time it was in the Spinal fluid around the brain, after a hard fight Jay managed to come back in full swing. In December 2013, Jay was up against his 3rd battle, two brain tumors and 1 mass. This form of Cancer is called "Glioblastoma". The doctors gave him 1 year of life left. With God's help and Jay's positive attitude, he survived this cancer, too. But the devil won't give up ... last week, on May 8, 2015, Jay had a follow up MRI. Unfortunately, the brain tumor is back and this will be Jay's 4th round with cancer. I know that he will win this round again. So please, let's all stand together and keep Jay and his family in our prayers. Thanks for helping Jay and his family - God bless y'all!!!

Jay's words to all of this "Looks like Round 4! Me an God got this!" ....

  1. What is the problem you want to solve?
Provide a description of the underlying problem or situation you want to improve with funding. Explain why this issue is important and what negative effects it currently has on people, the environment or your community.
  2. What is your solution?
Describe your plan to address the problem and highlight what makes your approach unique or effective.
  3. How will the funds be used?
Outline how the money will be allocated to specific programs, resources or services.
  4. How will contributions make a tangible difference?
Explain the benefits and positive changes resulting from your project being funded. If appropriate, also explain how the lives of beneficiaries will be impacted.
  5. How will you keep supporters involved in your campaign?
