This is my brother Dean. He is 31years old and he has cancer. He has been battling with this disease for 4 years. He has a cancer known as sarcoma which is a type of epithelioid. All money raised will go to supporting Dean and his new bionic arm.

Epithelioid sarcoma is a rare disease that affects young adults especially in the upper limbs (Hands and Forearm). Sadly there is not a great deal of knowledge and understanding as there are only few people in the world with this unpredictable disease. Dean has been pushed to his limits fighting this disease. After many operations which included, the amputation of two of his fingers on his right hand, skin crafting up his arm and the use of radiation he finally had to make the big decision of amputating his arm in the fight to battle his disease.

Deans bionic arm will cost around £45k, this still does not cover the costs of physiotherapy or his fitting appointments.

Dean is a very positive and energetic man with a big future ahead of him. Dean is determined and refuses to let cancer beat him.

All donations of any size will be a greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read his story.
