This year my son Jackson has decided to join the Cross Family Tradition, which is a donation in Honor of a family member in lieu of a gift, and Jackson also wanted to reach out to others to join with his Wish to help Adrian's family with treatment funds.

Ends December 31st.

Jackson is my 11 year son, his wish is to raise funds for Adrian's cancer treatments for Christmas.

Please help Jackson raise up to $1000.00 to help Adrian win his fight with Childhood Cancer. All funds raised go to Adrian's family for his cancer treatments.

Adrian is 11 years old, In the summer of 2011 he was diagnosed with a rare
childhood disease called a Wilms' Tumor on his kidney and had surgery to remove
it and to get chemo treatments, his three months scan showed clear of cancer.
November 2012 Adrians 6 month scans showed it is now in his lungs.
He finished 3 more cycles of chemo....
March 21, 2013,
They did a chest x-ray and when they compared it to the one taken in
January it looked like the tumor was growing. We did a CT scan on
Tuesday and it was confirmed. This is a major setback. The tumor should not be
growing while on chemo treatment. We are moving on to radiation this Monday.
Hopefully this will shrink the tumors enough so that we can do surgery.
After that there are clinical trials that we can try.
We are devastated and feel really helpless.
We have done everything we know to do and see
promising results only to get kicked in the gut.
He did 3 out 5 radiation treatments because the tumor was so close to his heart.
The good news is the they are shrinking but he continues to stay on chemo.

Currenty Adrian has been stable, tumors have not been growing but to small to remove.

Adrian still remains on Chemo till no NED (No Evidence of Disease).

What is Wilms' tumor?

Wilms' tumor, also called nephroblastoma, is a malignant (cancerous) tumor originating in the cells of the kidney. It is the most common type of renal (kidney) cancer and accounts for about 6 percent of all childhood cancers. As with any cancer, prognosis and long-term survival can vary greatly from child to child, but most children with Wilms' tumor can be cured of the disease.

Wilms' tumor is unrelated to adult kidney cancer. The tumor usually affects a single kidney, but approximately 5 to 10 percent of children with Wilms' tumor have both kidneys involved.

Paypay account will be transfered to the Merfeld's at the end of December.
