Sing for Spinal Cord Injury is an online event raising money to help build a revolutionary learning centre for people who have just sustained a traumatic spinal cord injury.
My sister, Heidi Haydon, is now a complete T4 paraplegic as a result of a motorcycle crash. After rehabilitation and becoming independent once again, she has since dedicated her time to helping other people overcome hurdles in their life and also getting the word out for prevention.

Sargood will be a world-class, residential learning centre on beautiful Collaroy beach opening in 2014 that will have a whole of life approach.
It will equip people who've sustained a spinal cord injury with the skills and confidence needed for new challenges like living independently, getting a job, managing relationships and taking part in the community.

It only takes a moment to change someone’s life.
You can give a young Australian a full and rewarding future.
Your donation can provide the right tools, the key skills, an inspiring environment and a confident start for that long journey to independence.
