Carrot came into Animal Control with a broken rear leg. He needed immediate rescue and vet care. After getting X-rays it appears little Carrot's leg had been stepped on. It happened a while ago, and had gotten turned around. He had Surgery on June 8th to pin and wire his leg. We are trying everything to save it. The vet is giving 4 weeks from surgery to see how his leg heals. He is knuckling on his foot but we are hoping for the best. In 4 weeks if he has not made progress in it healing correctly we will have to amputate. If it is doing well they will remove the pin in 6 weeks. He will be neutered at that time. Poor little guy will have to go under twice no matter what happens. You would never know it though, as he is quite the chatterbox. He loves attention and loves to be held. Donations are greatly appreciated to help with Carrot's Surgery.
