Vicki's Story:
My Name is Vicki. I live in Gwynedd, with my husband and young daughter in North West Wales. I have been totally bed bound due to very severe ME for three years following a prolonged hospital stay. I am currently in an upstairs room. I cannot weight bear or sit up unsupported and often will become dizzy due to lack of oxygen flow to my brain if I am sat upright. I have had ME for over 30 years. ME is a neurological condition.

The NHS can't afford an ambulance to move me to our new accessible home because I don't have the right kind of funding for my care. Medical professionals involved in my care state I need an Ambulance transfer. The District Nurses state they can't afford to cover the cost. I am moving less than 10 miles. I need 24/7 care and supervision.

My husband has set up an account to ask people to help cover the essential ambulance costs to move me.

Any extra donations received will be equally split between North West Wales Air Ambulance http://www.walesairambulance.com/ and the ME 25% Group. http://www.25megroup.org/
Which is a national charity that supports the most seriously affected with ME.
