Ми — велика українська родина, яка зараз проживає в Румунії. Нас восьмеро: я з дружиною та шестеро наших дітей. Наша родина — це чудове поєднання трьох біологічних та трьох усиновлених дітей, яких нам вдалося забрати додому з дитячого будинку лише за кілька місяців до початку повномасштабної війни. Ми віримо, що любові достатньо для всіх, але сьогодні ми просимо допомоги для нашого 11-річного сина Веніаміна.

Наша історія: Між двома війнами та однією помилкою

Наша боротьба розпочалася у 2014 році, коли війна вперше змусила нас покинути наш дім. Тоді ми намагалися врятувати мою вагітну дружину та нашу маленьку доньку. Ми сподівалися знайти безпеку в центральній Україні, але саме там сталася трагедія, яка назавжди змінила наше життя.

Due to a serious medical error during childbirth, Veniamin suffered prolonged cardiac arrest and a severe injury to the cervical spine. The diagnosis: cerebral palsy (CP), first-degree disability (subgroup A). At that time, we were told: “Give him up, he will never be a normal child.”

But we did not give up.

11 Years of Daily Faith

Today Veniamin is 11 years old. Despite all the frightening predictions, thanks to continuous rehabilitation, he has already begun taking his first independent steps. It is a miracle built on thousands of hours of exercises and many tears of joy.

Two previous rehabilitation courses at the Olinek Clinic in Poland gave him an incredible boost. The specialists there managed to find a method that works specifically for Veniamin. Now, as he grows, his body needs professional support to strengthen his progress and prevent the disease from reversing the results he has achieved.

Why We Are Here

Veniamin is now 11 years old. This is a critical age for his physical development, and we cannot stop now. The Olinek Clinic has unique equipment and specialists who know our son’s condition and progress and can help consolidate his ability to walk.
