My story began years ago.

I have never been able to walk away from an animal in need. If I found a sick, abandoned, injured, or starving cat, I always tried to help. Later, when I started seeing more and more desperate rescue posts online, it became impossible for me to simply scroll past without doing something.

For the first years, I covered everything myself: veterinary visits, blood tests, emergency care, medications, parasite treatments, special food, litter, vitamins, and daily care. But as more and more cats needed help, the costs became overwhelming.

There were months when food and litter alone cost several thousand dollars, not including medical treatments and emergency veterinary bills.

I gave everything I had to these cats — my time, my energy, my savings, and my full attention. I stayed beside sick animals through difficult nights, helped them recover, and worked hard to find loving homes for as many as possible.

But eventually, my financial situation collapsed.

My savings disappeared completely, and my monthly income was no longer enough to support the growing costs of rescue work. I took out a major loan of $80,000 just to continue paying for food, veterinary treatment, and daily survival for the cats.

That amount lasted about a year.

When it ran out, I had no choice but to take smaller loans, and later ask two close friends for temporary financial help.

Today, my total debt has reached approximately $120,000.

I can no longer manage the repayments, and my house is now at risk because it serves as financial security.

The painful reality is that we are living in very difficult conditions. I bought this small rural house a few years ago, but because every available resource went to rescuing cats, I was never able to renovate it properly.

At this moment, I do not even have a functioning bathroom, and there is no running water in the house — I carry water home manually.

This is no longer only about rescue work.

This is about saving the only place where these cats are safe.

I gave my life to helping animals when nobody else would help them.

Now I am asking for help because I have reached the point where I cannot carry this alone any longer.
