On Friday, January 16th, Ace, Alma and I were on our way back to Kroger's to pick up items they left out of our pickup order. On the way there, we were involved in a wreck, leaving my only car, totaled. Ace, Alma and I are fine, and the other family is fine. They are covered by my car insurance, but we are not.

I am not someone who can afford to just go out and buy a new, or even a used car. It is only my income, and my income is only social security disability. Most people who know me know that I have struggled, just with living in general, since I have been down to only my income. I am not asking for a brand new car with all the bells and whistles, just a nice used car, safe enough for the pups and I to get around town in. The farthest we travel is to their Vet, in Harrogate, Tennessee. About a 20 minute drive.

Any amount will help us, and getting a car is my top priority, right now!

As for the help with winter, we have been blessed with a pretty mild winter, with only an occasional cold snap, up until now, but there is a forecast for this weekend for a major winter storm, complete with a big snow. We are stuck in, anyway, but that means a huge electric bill coming up. Our home is total electric, and the winter heat bills are outrageous!

I have been looking at cars online, and have a few bookmarked. Really want another Honda Civic, since it is what I am familiar with. So I don't have a dollar amount on a car yet, but will adjust the amount I am asking for, as needed. Going to start out low.
