My dog has not wanted to eat for a few days (watch videos here) or at the gallery section above) and I'm very concerned because I can't afford a vet appointment as I've been unemployed for over two months. I've been struggling to feed him and even myself and my family ever since I got unemployed. I'm applying to jobs everyday but I haven't been called yet. For that reason I'm asking for your help to pay for a vet appointment for him and a blood panel which will be necessary to find the reason why he's not been wanting to eat.
Additionally I would REALLY appreciate it if I can get help for a bag of kibble and some cheap wet food to mix with his food as he's sometimes not even wanting to eat once a day. He also has some fleas, so I would love to buy him a Bravecto pill, but this is not as urgent as the vet, so it's not a priority, I will just add it here in case someone wishes to contribute with that since this is very annoying for him and homemade remedies have not worked.
These are the things that he's needing:
- Vet appointment: $40
- Full Blood panel: It varies depending on the lab but I would say an average of $50 for the full blood panel and $30 for the routine panel (any works, but full panel would be ideal as this also shows if he has any issues in his organs).
-Bag of kibble: $60 for a 25 pound bag. The one that he eats is the brand Happy One. There are brands that are a little bit cheaper but those cause him vomit so I try to keep him with Happy One.
- Bravecto pill for the fleas and ticks: Last time was $40. I found this cheaper one but it's in a states far from mine and it will cost about the same paying for the shipping costs.
- Parvo/Distemper vaccine booster (Optional) : $40. He already has all 3 initial doses but he's overdue for his booster vaccine. Here's the email from the vet letting me know it's overdue. I'm sure he'll be find if he waits until next year for his booster, but it would be amazing if I could get him vaccinated, it would be something less to worry about as I don't know when I'll be able to find a job.
- Possible treatment costs and Food and treats for enticing him to eat while he recovers (Optional): I don't know how much this will cost me. I feel like I'm asking for too much already so this is up to you if you want to make an extra contribution for potential treatment and wet food/treats. Any extra amount donated will be used for this.
Note: If it's more comfortable for you, you can also pay directly to the pet store if you're a Zelle user. I can also ask the doctor if she has a way to receive international payment in case you would rather pay for the appointment directly.
