Hi, I'm Amanda and I am here because of bad genetics. When I was born my parents wrote a check their butts couldn't cash. Lol, I was born with more than one genetic condition. I have Elhers-Danlos Syndrome which affects the connective tissue throughout the body. They're fewer than 200,00 cases a year. Then I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome there are less than 200,000 cases a year. My case is a little different I have cervical ribs that come out over my collarbone. So vessels and nerves get trapped between the rib and collar bone and causing damage. There is only .05% of the world with cervical ribs so it makes it hard to treat. The effects of this condition are having it hurts to breathe, and I have weakness and pain in my right arm. The next thing is damaging the vessel could cause blood clots which would be bad because I already have a genetic condition in my heart which requires a vascular surgeon too. I don't have a car that will make it from Dodge City Kansas to Dallas Texas. Then if we make it there we have nowhere to stay. The last thing is having money for food. I honestly don't know how long I will need to stay. Thank you for reading anything would help I only get 800 a month which is hard to barely cover my normal bill. So a 6 hr road trip wasn't in the budget.
