- Courtney Vick Mother of three needs your help!!! Courtney and her husband Sgt Steven Vick were married 11yrs and have 3 children. After a long fight with depression Steven lost his battle with PTSD and committed suicide by overdose after 17 years of service in the US Army leaving behind a grieving wife and 3 children. On July 17, 2019 at the age of 42 Courtney was hit by a Uninsured Drunk Driver in a AUTO ACCIDENT that almost calmed her life. Courtney was hospitalized for over a month. After 4 back surgeries and 3 leg surgeries and due to the severity of the injuries her mobility and health is rapidly declining. With on going mobility/health issues from her auto accident she has lost her ability to provide daily care for herself and her family. Courtney's femur bone(thigh bone) was fractured and splintered causing a puncture hole in her femoral artery causing her to lose over a liter of blood and causing nerve damage to her right leg. She has a titanium rod from her hip to her knee. Courtney has had over 450 injections, epidurals, myelograma w/ fluoroscopy, diskograms. I have known this family along time they are worth it. They are asking for a hand up not a hand out. Courtney worked very hard as a Military spouse helping to support our country while being a Full time Wife, Full time Mom working a full time job while raising 3 children. Courtney's SEVERE declining health do to injuries from a DRUNK DRIVER has caused her ability to provide for herself and her family impossible without your help.
