My name is Ema Chlepkova, I'm fifteen years old and I train Biathlon and Ski Mountaineering in Calgary, Alberta.
My
race season this year started out very well. Competing in the Canadian
Nationals this January I placed first in the Vertical, Sprint and
Individual races as a female cadet. Due to my success I now have the
opportunity to represent Canada at the Ski Mountaineering World
Championships in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland on March 9th-16th.
I'm very excited to race internationally in Switzerland, but
because Ski-Mo isn't a well know sport, it's very expensive for a
young athlete. All the funds raised will be used for my
transportation, lodging and food. Your support would give me the
opportunity to reach my potential and would allow me to pursue my
athletic dreams.
