Charity Crochet Exchange is a group of people all over the US who crochet items for homeless, hospitals and for other charity organizations to use for raffles and/or auctions to help them raise money. Our members crochet squares, hats and other items and ship them to the group admins who then sew the squares into blankets and ship them all over the country. Our members donate their time, yarn and money for our causes and we have 1-2 projects a month, shipping items all over the country. Shipping costs have grown so high ($70-$150 per project) that we can barely afford to ship to our recipients. But rather than ask our members who already do so much, we are asking for the public's help.

Here is what your donations will pay for:

Yarn to assemble blankets

Boxes, packing tape and other shipping supplies

The cost of shipping CCE items all over the country

Baggies for packaging our "clean" items like Chemo Caps for cancer patients

Incentive Prizes (We hold contests to try and boost participation for our events and to show our members that we appreciate all that they do)

We would also like to become an official (501)c Charity, but that too costs money that we don't have
