Hello there, my name is Arnie Higgs- 

My book; CANCER determination and me 

I have recently published a book February this year2015 about my journey though cancer. I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2008 at the age of 13 and have since been in remission from 2010. The reason behind my book was to inspire people battling this awful disease, and the people around them. 

I have written about my experiences and my coping mechanisms I learnt throughout the long journey. 

I have seen what it can do first hand, and as I had missed most of my schooling education I was unable to qualify for the grades to become a health worker to help people in these situations. So instead decided not to be defeated once again, and in turn write my own book.

Since my book has been published I have felt extremely proud and am even more determined to get my book noticed to help strengthen other people in relation to the disease. As stated previously, whether it is patients themselves or their close network around them; as I believe no one ever prepares you for what is ahead once you hear the news. 

When they say, “YOU HAVE CANCER”, it is a hard and scary feeling but no matter how hard it is you always need to have a P.M.A (positive mental attitude), but be a dreamer and anything can happen and most of all work your butt off, push yourself, think no pain, think outside the box and just think there is always someone worse off then you, show people what you can do, show people that there is light at the end of the tunnel. When going through cancer you are not going to get better straight away, to be fair it is going to get harder, you are going to feel tired you are going to feel weak you are going to feel like you have no get up and go but always remember there is someone looking over you telling you to push yourself, telling you to never, never, never, give up. Improvement doesn't happen overnight so don’t get disappointed, you are like a flower, E.g. you plant the seed and you have to give it food, water, love and time, time to grow and to succeed.

I have put a picture up of my book and title & would love the opportunity to discuss it further with anyone that is interested, I am asking for your time to just take your time out and think if this book was promoted more many more cancer patients have the opportunity to have a look at my book and read it and be inspired like . I spoke to a man yesterday I said " why did you donate £5" he said " because my niece has got the cancer and was inspired by you and now she has a more positive out look" do you know what I started crying with happyness because that is all I want to make one person say " because of you I dident give up". My book I believe it will encourage and inspire other people to keep on going & not be defeated. 

I am very blessed to have the opportunity to pass my story on in the hope I can reach out to those who feel alone & I believe with your help this can be achieved by helping me to raise money so i can purchase my books and offer them out to hospitals and cancer organisations, cancer seminars and just help promote my book because my publishers charge me for every copy of my book and as i am unfortunate to have the income to afford the price they want for books, for 100 paper backs I have to pay £500 it is extremely hard for me to provide my OWN BOOK, i would be honoured for your help.

all tho my book is available on whsmith website, water stones website, Amazon, eBay and ect, but no body knows about it ,it is so frustrating nobody wants to help it is all "ah fantastic" " your an inspiration" " this book will help loads", oh but sorry We can't help you , I can't stress enough this is not a comfy book, a love story or even a Harry Potter story, it is a real and true story about life  about what so many people are going though in this day and age with your help I hope to inspire many of people from the age1 to 100.
