In October 2014, myself and a few students from Corby Business Academy will be going out to Masinagudi in India to help the gypsy community. In Masinagudi lives a tribal community in which has been displaced over the years and have sadly lost their traditional rights and entitlements because of legislation changes implemented by the Indian Forest Department.

The goals of the project are to go over to Masinagudi and improve two schools which are currently located there, leading to the students having a better quality of life and to have the same benefits as those who are in the mainstream education systems.

Doing this project means so much to myself and the other individuals who are taking part in going over to Masinagudi: even a pound will make a major difference in our fundraising scheme.

Thank you for any donations given and once we are out there, we promise to keep you all updated on what we have done and how we have made a difference.
