If you know my best friend Delmar Jackson - Some of you already know this, but some of you don’t. For those who don’t know, Delmar has been paying a good amount of child support bi-weekly, but some older claims have accumulated to a hefty amount that D just couldn’t catch up with, which finally caught up with him Tuesday night (11/26/13). Since then he’s been in Rappahannock Regional Jail, and is expecting to get transferred to Fairfax early next week. Bail Bondsmen can’t take on this kind of thing given the situation, which means the full amount has to be paid in cash at the magistrate.........$4,278.00. That’s a lot of cash. I just visited him Friday. He said it sucks in there, but his spirits are pretty good for what it’s worth. He really wants to get out. None of us have that kind of money, but I told him I could try and throw a fundraiser for him and give it a shot. Worst case scenario if we can’t get anywhere near that, I could put the cash in my safe and hold it for him so he’ll have something nice to start with when he get’s out. However, the response on Facebook is really good, and I think we might have a shot.  He asked if I could make it happen, so here it is.  Even $20 would help if times are tough. The key is to get lots of people to jump in.  You could also send a check to Kevin Murphey at 5537 Kendrick Lane, Burke, VA  22015, or paypal me with the ID - averagejoe@verizon.net.  I think we might be able to pull this off.  Please help me spread the word!  TO ANYONE WHO CONTRIBUTES, PLEASE USE PAYPAL DIRECTLY IF YOU CAN, OR JUST MAIL A CHECK.  USING FUNDRAZR APPARANTLY TAKES A NICE SIZE FEE EVERY TIME.
