Sawyer was born early and diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a chronic condition that causes severe developmental issues. After 11 weeks of hard fought battle, many victories, and so much love, he passed away the afternoon of March 23rd in his mommy's arms.
Sawyer McIntosh just celebrated his 3-week anniversary with the world! We hope to enjoy him for many more, but his future is uncertain. Lynn and John were excited to welcome their first girl into their family of four. However, at the last minute, Little Sawyer surprised them all by being a boy! Unfortunately, he was also tiny (just over 4 pounds!) and diagnosed with Trisomy-18 (read about the diagnosis here Sawyer will need life-long medical care to monitor his heart, development, and more. Please help the the McIntosh family provide for his medical care so they can make the most of the time they have with their little miracle.
