Nathan Hrdlicka is our adult 29 year old foster son. Nate was born with an advanced grade of bilateral PFFD; a condition of no femur bones and no knees in his legs - he stands with only the bottom half of both legs and feet which measure normally. His upper body and torso measure normally. (find more info at www.pffd.org)

He needs to complete his necessary dental replacement work and so he can eat normally and most of all smile fully at the people in his life and the people he is yet to meet. Nate also has the opportunity to relocate to a new home in Denver Colorado with his faithful service dog/companion Ezra where he will live with friends and receive better health care. We need to raise funds quickly. We had hoped to make all this happen by the first week of December and are now shooting for end of January 2013. We are so very grateful to everyone who has contributed thus far. Any amount can make a difference..

His main source of income is a small disability check that nets him less than $8,000 a year to live on. He recently received a partial grant for a complete dental extraction of all his teeth and replacement with an upper and lower plate. We still need to finish the upper plate so he has a complete set of teeth. Until then, he is unable to eat properly and not able to smile with confidence. The PFFD Syndrome causes him chronic pain and other complications with how his body functions.

Nate is witty, intelligent and creative and has learned to live in the face of daily pain and challenges. Please partner with us to invest in his health, vitality and future.

Any amount of money you can contribute will make a difference. Thank You to all our friends and family!!!
