Andy's 11th annual Charity Event: Tailgate for a Cure - October 19, 2013!
Andy's Tailgate for the Cure is simply – an OSU Football kick-off party celebrating our brother Andy, all while raising funds for a cure. Andy loved tailgating as much as he loved Ohio State Football, and we were lucky enough to have the most memorable tailgate of all with him in 2003 at the National Championship. Andy passed away 8 months later due to complications during colon cancer surgery.
Andy left a mark on this world, and it is our honor to carry on his legacy by holding an annual charity event in his name. Andy's Charity Event, where Andy's family, friends and anyone collected along the way, have fun and raise some funds - in effort to stop colon cancer where it starts.

What: Liz and Nate will provide a good-old-fashion RV tailgate experience; food, drinks, games and OSU game day ambience.

Fundraiser: Andy’s Charity Events benefit OSU's Hereditary Colon Cancer Outreach: Fund/Project Number 314010 - For outreach programs, activities or conferences on hereditary colon cancer awareness, education, prevention, risks, etc. for the general public, patients and families. The fund is in memory of our late brother Andrew McGiffin Barford.
