For as long as I can remember, animals have been my safe place. While other kids dreamed of toys, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian—of healing, protecting, and giving a voice to those who cannot speak. That dream followed me my entire life… but for many years, I wasn’t allowed to live it.
When I finished high school, I ranked among the top 50 students of my class. I thought that would be the beginning of a bright future where I could finally study what my heart longed for. But it didn’t happen.
My father offered to pay for college, but only if I chose a career that “made money,” like medicine or accounting. With a broken heart, I set aside my childhood dream and chose accounting.
I started in 2019… but from the very first day, I felt empty inside. It wasn’t my calling. And even then, my father complained about every cost. When the pandemic hit, he stopped paying altogether. Without explanation, my studies came to an end.
I was told not to get married because “they would continue paying for my education.”
But it was a lie.
And it hurts when the people who should lift you up are the ones who let you fall.
I stopped studying, not because I didn’t want to continue… but because I never had the chance to choose my path.
In 2021 I got married, and in 2023 my baby boy was born—my greatest blessing. He gave me the strength to dream again. And although today, thanks to God and my husband, we are stable, there was still an empty place in my heart: my lost vocation.
Then, a few months ago, I found what I had been waiting for all along.
I discovered the degree in Animal Science (Zootecnia), along with the mention in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science. It felt like God was telling me: “Here it is. What you always wanted. Now it’s your turn.”
This career focuses on animal welfare, responsible production, raising healthy and free animals—exactly how I always imagined them. It’s the key to the future I’ve dreamed of for so long: having my own farm, caring for my animals when they get sick, producing food with love and dignity, and giving every animal a life worthy of them.
For the first time in years, I felt true hope.
But even though I have the dream and the desire, I don’t have the financial resources to study. And that’s why today, with all my heart and humility, I’m asking for help.
Help to fulfill the dream that was taken from me when I was young.
Help to show my son that it’s never too late to rise again.
Help to build a future filled with purpose, love, and dignity.
