The name Samoilov is well known in the Ukrainian judo community. Dmitry Samoilov is an exceptional judo coach, respected throughout Ukraine, especially in our native Odessa. He has trained over a hundred young athletes, helping many motivated judokas achieve their ambitious goals. Dmitry has always dreamed of raising a world-class sportsperson who could compete for a medal at the Judo World Championship. After two decades, this dream is on the verge of becoming a reality.

Dmitry’s 16-year-old son, Arkadii Samoilov, is poised to fulfill his father’s dream. Arkadii, the 2023 Champion of Ukraine and winner of European Judo Cups in 2023 and 2024, is a promising star in Ukrainian judo.

The upcoming Judo World Championship will be held in Lima, Peru, at the end of August. Preparations are underway, but we need your help. As a close friend of the family, I am dedicated to doing everything possible to ensure Arkadii can participate in this major event. Therefore, I have launched this fundraising campaign.
