My name is Jady Heyns. I am based in George, Western Cape, South Africa.

I am a member of SAMA (South African Masters Athletics) and compete for SWD as my province.

I represented my country (South Africa) internationally at the World Masters Athletics Championships, winning Silver Medal at the 2016 WMAC Perth, Australia, Bronze medal at the 2022 WMAC Tampere, Finland & Gold at the 2023 AFMA Pretoria, South Africa. I am ranked nr 2/3 in the world for 2022/23 Masters M50 Shotput https://mastersrankings.com/rankings/

I won the National SA Masters Shotput Championship in 2019 & 2023 and I am currently the SWD M40/45/50 Shotput record holder.

Short/long-term goals:

My short/long-term goal is to stay competitive on the World Masters Rankings (worldmastersrankings.com)

My campaign goals:

I am currently preparing for the 2024 WMAC (World Masters Athletics Championships) Gothenburg, Sweden and local events in South Africa.
