Hello my name is Sal Van Le
I am married to Vira Rose Le and we have an Adorable daughter named Jasmine Rose Le. We have been married for 10 years and our lives turned Upside down on November 6, 2018. A disgruntled employee and my wife’s work place proceeded to attack my wife with a box cutter and ended up cutting her in the neck and abdomen area. I spent five hours in the waiting room thinking about my daughter my wife and whether or not she was going to survive or if she was just gonna die at Hennepin County Medical Center. Everybody from doctors to friends to family all said that the physical part will Heal a lot faster than the mental part. The challenges that we run into is that the physical part has healed but it also serves as a constant reminder for the mental pain that exits on a day-to-day basis. I just want my wife to feel safe and feel happy I haven’t seen her smile in a long time.
On top of the horrible and tragic incident that occurred to her, There was also an incredible break down in the legal system that allowed the person who attacked my wife to get away with it. It breaks my heart every day To look at her face and see the deep deep pain she has inside. She just wants her neck to be fixed and that’s why I’m hoping there are some kind and generous people out there that are willing to help make this a reality for her. I know It will not to fix all of the damage that this person has caused my wife and family, but it will be a big step in the right direction. It breaks my heart to watch my wife interact with our two year old daughter Jasmine and be unable to smile. We have a long road ahead of us and I hope that there’s enough compassion out there to help us get through this long And winding road.
