We started this fund to help one of the most beautiful, courageous, faithful & strong women that I know.  Paula Hughes Crider is in her second fight with cancer.  They found out this past December that her cancer was back, that is was a stage 4 and that it had spread throughout parts of her body.  She is the wife of Pastor Marty Crider, the mother of 6 beautiful children & two adorable granddaughters.

For the past few months she has been battling fluid in her lungs, which she found out this week is from the cancer.  She is also on an extremely high dose of chemotherapy which leaves her very tired.

When she received this news Paula and Marty were both living in Hamilton, OH where Marty is senior pastor.  Since all of her cancer doctors are here in Georgia, Paula and her youngest daughter Abigail had to move.  Marty is currently having to travel back and forth from Ohio.

This is a precious family who has shown great faith throughout this whole trial!  I believe that our purpose here on earth is to serve God by serving others.  Please help us in our efforts to support this family in their time of need.

Below is a part of Paula's testimony in her own words.

Paula's testimony of faith:

This past Monday, December 9th, I sat in the doctors office waiting to here the results of my body scan. The doctor came in and told me he had some very bad news. He said that the cancer was spread in parts of my body and was a stage 4. As I sat there and listened, I went numb. Then it hit me, I looked at him and told him that I didn't want to hear what he had to say. So he and Marty Crider went to the other room. I didn't want to how much time he thought I had on this earth. Only my God knows that.(And I still don't know what the doctor said). If satan can get you to believe it in your mind, then that is how he weakens your faith. My faith and trust is in our Lord and Savior, not the doctors. I am not going anywhere until God says it's time. The Lord has sent me many messages through this trial since Monday, and I am standing on that. I went to Church in Dalton last night, and the Holy Ghost came on Bro. Oley Wilson and the Lord used him and he came and laid his hands on me and prayed for me. Thank you sweet Jesus! And tonight, we were all gathered around praying at 9:00 and the Holy Ghost came down so strong, we had meeting here at the house. I know that God is doing a miracle in me! I thank Him and I praise Him that He thought enough of me to let me be a witness for Him. Praise His Holy Name! I want to tell everyone that I am so overwhelmed at all the 'Team Paula' pictures and posts, and all the personal posts and messages. This is not an easy battle to face, and at times my faith gets weak. But when I get on here and I see all the support and prayers it strengthens my faith. I could never express how much I love and care for each and everyone of you. I want to thank you for your prayers, for everyone who has fasted on my behalf. I know God hears each and everyone. Please continue to pray for me and my family. I am looking and expecting my miracle......There's a miracle in the making, and I'm claiming it!
