On November 8th 2013 Caleb kroffat (11 years old) was playing behind the cowichan community centre as so many young boys do.

A thump was heard and a nearby bus driver for one of the hockey teams playing found the young boy unconscious. He was brought to Duncan hospital where he passed away with a helicopter ready to bring him to vancouver children's hospital. It is unknown at this time as to what caused this accident. The mother, Renee kroffat  and father, Jason kroffat sit with no answer as to why their young son now lays dead. To all of us, friends, family, community. It is absolutely devastating. Jason,  the father is there only income at this time, and I would like to give whatever I can to them in this time of grieving, so they don't have to worry about money in such a horric untimely disaster. I ask from the deepest place in my heart to help me help them, so they don't need to worry while they say goodbye to their child.  My cousin. Rest in peace
