Last week we rescued Heidi and her family. They were covered with thousands of fleas, loaded with hook worms, and tapeworms.
Everyone was treated and groomed and it seemed like all would be well. But on Friday, Heidi vomited a little and seemed depressed. On Saturday morning she was lethargic and vomited a little more. We took her in and had all the bloodwork done and it didn't show anything abnormal.
At that point Heidi hadn't eaten in two days. The vet gave meds to calm her tummy, rehydrated her and sent her home.
We just took Heidi back to the vet today (Monday). She is even more lethargic and still refusing food. If you hold it near her, she sniffs it and gags.
Occasionally she will get a burst of energy, wag her tail, take a drink, and go pee. And then she is exhausted and goes back to sleep after a few minutes.

No vomiting since Saturday morning, no abnormal bowel movements. The vet doesn't have any idea what is going on, but he has admitted her for IV treatment, barium study, xrays, and more bloodwork.
It's going to get very costly and will probably be much higher then the 600.00 I am guessing at.

Please help Heidi get all the medical help she needs. She's been through so much already in her 10 wks. She needs your help now... please help us to help her.

We're including a picture of Heidi the day before she got so sick. She's a darling baby who deserves a chance to live...
