My name is Pablo Denevi. I'm an independent filmmaker, musician, and visual artist based in Ushuaia, Argentina — the southernmost city in the world.
For years, I've been building "The Artist at the End of the World" entirely on my own: writing, filming, editing, composing the original score, and even funding my equipment through work as a street window cleaner. No studio. No sponsors. Just persistence.
The Artist at the End of the World is an independent feature film inspired by The Count of Monte Cristo. It tells a personal story about art, revenge, transformation, and the possibility of creating something meaningful from the most difficult circumstances.
This project is deeply tied to my late mentor, Manuel Lamas, a Uruguayan filmmaker and visual artist who shaped how I see art and storytelling. In many ways, this film is my way of honoring what he taught me.
This campaign will help bring the film to its next stage of production — completing post-production, finishing the original guitar soundtrack, and preparing everything needed to share this story with the world.
