This is a not only a request, but a genuine dream.
While searching for a place to live in San Francisco for a friend and I, I made the dangerous mistake of browsing loft style listings, and stumbled across what can only be described as my dream home.

I have always wanted to live in a loft like Max’s apartment in Dark Angel. Huge windows, exposed brick, industrial character, and just enough dystopian energy to make every trip to the kitchen feel like the beginning of a mission. This place has that main vibe. It looks like somewhere Max would park her motorcycle, brood near a rain soaked window, and receive a cryptic message about her past. I altered the image I used, but there is a real property associated to this request. I know the show was based in Seattle and filmed in Canada, but SF if the next best thing!

Unfortunately, San Francisco real estate prices are apparently set in a dystopian future where normal money has lost all meaning. I'm working two jobs in SF and it's tough to budget rent with actually living a life. Renting rates are wild, so I figured I would aim even higher and ask the internet to help me buy the place instead.

This is not a tragic or deeply emotional appeal. I am simply searching for fellow dreamers, Dark Angel fans, loft enthusiasts, and generous patrons of extremely cool living spaces. Maybe you share the dream. Maybe you watched the show and agree that living in a pad like Max’s would be objectively badass. Maybe you just want to contribute a few dollars toward making one very specific early-2000s sci-fi fantasy come true.

Every contribution gets me slightly closer to exposed-brick and beams with high ceilings. At the very least, sharing the post might help it reach the mysterious billionaire who has been waiting their entire life to finance someone’s Dark Angel inspired San Francisco loft.
