The goal is to speed up workflow, break creative blocks, and help producers hit tight deadlines or finish beat tapes faster, so you’re ready to pitch to artists, publishers, film and TV.

Hey, I’m Josh, also known as JFlames.
I’m a producer with nearly 20 years in music, a twin dad, and I work a tech job in the EV charging world during the day. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with Sony Publishing, with my music featured in over 200 TV shows and films, including The Big Bang Theory and EastEnders.
As a producer, I was always chasing hard hitting, industry level 808s, but couldn’t find an affordable plugin that really delivered. That’s where Bass Bully VST was born.
My partner and I built Bass Bully together, quite literally between changing nappies for our one year old twins. We released it for free on January 18th 2025, and it quickly went viral thanks to our AI generated mascot and, more importantly, the sound quality. In under three weeks, we hit over 2000 downloads.

Project Timeline
Late March
Secure funding with your support and finalise the project scope. Once funds are released, backers will receive any included bonus VST rewards such as Bass Bully Premium, F1LTHY Bully, and other applicable plugins.
Mid April
Commission and onboard our developer to begin building the MIDI bassline generation engine.
Early June
Internal and closed beta testing is planned to begin, focusing on stability, musical accuracy, and workflow.
July
Planned prototype access for backers in the Early Producer, Power Producer, and Founders Edition tiers.
September
Planned public release of Create Bully, pending successful development and testing.
