A Dream of Love: Building My Family 🌈
Since I was a child, I have always dreamed of having my own family. My parents were everything to me-my safe haven, my example of unconditional love. But life took them away from me too soon. Ever since, I have carried not only the longing for them but also the deep desire to rebuild that love-to create my own family and give a child everything I once received.
I am gay and married to a wonderful man, with whom I share this dream. We want to be parents, to give love, care, and a home full of affection to a child. However, in our country, couples like us are not allowed to pursue surrogacy. The path to parenthood means seeking this dream abroad, where love and the desire to be fathers are respected above all barriers. But this process is expensive and challenging, which is why we need your help. We do both have jobs and we can raise the child, but the process is expensive since it must be done outside of Brazil where we live today.
More than anything, I want to have a biological child in the hope of seeing some lost part of my mother or father—something that warms my heart and reminds me of how much I love and miss them. A familiar smile, a gesture, a glance that echoes their presence in my life. This child will not only be the realization of my dream of being a father but also a way to honor and keep alive the love that shaped me. We are also trying to adopt a kid as well, cause we want to share the love of a family.
Every contribution brings us one step closer to the day we can hold our child in our arms, look into their eyes, and see a reflection of the love we once received from our families. This is not just a personal wish-it is a chance to continue a legacy of care, warmth, and unconditional love.
