The Beginning:
In 2022 I left my office job and set off to Thailand in pursuit of a career as a fighter and a coach.
In less than a years time I went from my first fight, to being a sponsored fighter for Sitjemam Muay Thai, seeing the stages of the legendary Rajadamnern and even fighting at the WURKZ Energy promotion in Cambodia.
I was also fortunate to be part of the preparation of other fighters, corner them, and celebrate their successes.
The Setback:
A year later I had to head back to South Africa due to Visa and financial restraints.
The past 3 months also saw me in and out of the ophthalmologist office and hospital due to glaucoma in both my eyes.
A major financial set back on savings and work opportunities.
The Comeback:
With my health restored, I have been invited back to Sitjemam Muay Thai to continue my journey, with a return fight offer for the 2nd of December 2023.
Being a fighter means you do not always see a financial profit, and often time you break even or make a loss.
With the grace and support of those around me I ask you to aid in making my second journey as successful, if not moreso.
