The problem was that we had too much stuff crammed in the cabinet, which wasn't easy to find or access.
The solution that this new cabinet provides is that we can now put our bulk goods (and excess goods) on shelves, so they are easy to see and access. Furthermore, the shelf provides a space for the broom and dustpan, which may encourage us to use them more often.
The gap to better outcomes is about funding. Supplies cost money.
