Hello everybody. Most of you know who this amazing child is, but it is my honor to introduce you to Landen Jaggie! Landen is an amazing child with a giant heart. Landen Is still a CHILD, at age 16 and may be one of the most well mannered, thoughtful, and selfless kids you will ever meet! Like any other 16 year old child, Landen was full of joy and energy, with his entire life to look forward to. His childhood was cut short on November 14th, 2022 when he broke his arm, throwing a dodgeball. That day will forever be etched into my memory, because that is the day they found a giant tumor in his arm and diagnosed him with CANCER! He broke his arm due to the OSTEOSARCOMA that has invaded his right humerus!

Landens life has changed dramatically since that day and now my amazing 16 year old son is no longer living a normal, carefree childhood. Landen is now locked into this battle with CANCER, that has cut his childhood short and robbed him of being an innocent 16 year old kid. One day we were batteling acne and the next we are batteling for Landens life!

Landen went through an initial surgery to have his bone put back together with an implant bar and screws. He Immediately went through another surgery to have a double port placed in his chest. After that he Immediately started chemotherapy. He will go through a little over 3 months of chemotherapy before he has his major surgery. He will have to have a total shoulder replacement where they will remove his entire humerus and replace it with an implant. The actual procedure is called an SRS Humerus Replacement with a Comprehensive  Total Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty with a Compressed Stem!

After this mother of all surgeries on my 16 year old child, he will then continue chemotherapy for an additional 4 months.

So far, Landen has only been through 2 treatment cycles of chemotherapy. We are at the very beginning of a very long journey that is going to take a physical and mental toll on Landen and the rest of his family.

I can tell you now that CANCER is the worst, most disgusting, absolute nastiest disease on earth. You have to basically kill the person with chemotherapy to try and save their life. My heart goes out to anyone and everyone that has ever been affected by this shitty disease!
