Jimmy is a 2 year old rescue pitbull x dogue de Bordeaux  that was found in the mountains dumped and completely disabled in his back legs. Although he was rushed to the vet immediately we quickly learned that the injury that caused his disability was not fresh which meant that the damage was irreversible.

With a massive team effort Pitbull Rescue Cyprus managed to find an amazing emergency foster home thanks to a lovely woman named Elsie and her wonderful partner Zen. The two of them opened their home to Jimmy as a place to finally relax, eat, drink, and get the special treatment he needed to settle down and learn to trust again. Now with his wheelchair on the way it’s time for Jimmy to move onto step 2 of his beautiful journey to the best possible life! He will be joining other disabled friends, at an amazing sanctuary for disabled doggies with the experienced help of our rescue friend Rochelle and her other volunteers of MoonAcre Sanctuary! In order to get Jimmy set up at the sanctuary we are needing funding to pay for his new specialized training kennel he will be utilizing to start getting introduced to the pack as he is currently dog/animal aggressive and of course needs a comfy area to call his own during his rehabilitation.
