April 2021 update.

Hi everyone. It's been a long journey and Chris still isn't home.

But we won't give up. The timeline has been extended du to covid-19. We have had to push through delay after delay when it comes to court dates and attorney visits with Christopher and his lawyers. When someone tests positive in Men's Central Jail, the entire dorm goes into quarantine. Even if some of the residents such as Christopher have alreay caught and recovered from the coronavirus.

Chris is ready to come home!

First, I want to thank everyone for all of your support. The words of encouragement, donations
and sharing Chris’ story will have forever changed our lives. Because of everyone’s generosity,
Chris was able to obtain a legal team.

Mr. Robert Schwartz and Mr. Joseph Guiterrez have been working diligently on this case and
have now reviewed all court transcripts, have had several meetings with Chris and are getting
ready for trial.

There is one more step in preparing Chris’s case for trial. Obtaining legal experts.

Legal experts are critical for Chris’ court trial. They will help jurors understand the
information that is often misconstrued by the prosecution in cases like this. Their legal
expertise can dispute a very weak case that is not based in evidence and explain why what the
prosecution is claiming is not possible.

The estimate I was given for the cost for the experts is $35,000. Chris’ legal team will provide
a written estimate and breakdown of all the experts and their individual costs , which I will
share. Since raising funds can be challenging, I wanted to get a head start. The quicker all the
experts are secured, the more time they will have to prepare.

I will be updating the fundraiser on a regular basis. Those who have been following since the
first fundraiser that raised the funds to cover the lawyers, know that I am very transparent and
will provide updates regularly. I am always available to answer any questions.
