For most of my life, I have not answered God’s calling. But, now, ‘here I am, Lord.’ And I need your help…

I first felt His calling in my mid-teens, and thus began a serious and intentional study of the Bible, and a relationship with God the Father.

It was during this time in my life that I first heard God speak to me. “How can you be a carpenter unless you first learn to use the tools?” And quite honestly, the message terrified me. I do not see being called by God as anything less than the most significant responsibility one might have while we are on this planet.

Of course, it’s also a privilege, but one that comes with great weight and responsibility.

At that time, having grown up in an extremely abusive family, and after a significant event with my own father, I turned away from God, feeling abandoned, lost, and angry. Why did He refuse to answer my prayers to protect my family, my mother, myself, and my younger sister and brother, from my father’s physical and emotional abuse? I still don’t know the answer to that question, but I know His plan was different than mine.

And thus started my spiritual quest across the world’s other great spiritual paths.

As a result, I have presented at SAND, Science and Non-Duality, where the world’s great scientific thinkers and spiritual thinkers come together to build a bridge…

And the University of Tucson’s Centre for Human Consciousness…

And now, because of recent life events, I have come back to and am ready to respond to God’s call. He will have no less.

I bring with this calling 30 years as a licensed clinical counsellor, spiritual life coach and director, and my own spiritual path experiences. Perhaps I was meant to pursue these paths as my profession to bring those skills to whatever the future is that God has planned for me.

A wonderful friend some 30 years ago gave me a card that read: “God’s greatest healers are those who have felt the greatest pain.”

I don’t have the card anymore, but its text is as clear in my mind now as it was the day Sandy gave it to me.

And I need your help to get there…

I have now been accepted to Trinity Bible College and Theological Seminary in Evansville, Indiana, a seminary that is celebrating its 50th year of training those called to serve His Kingdom.

The total need for the program, including tuition, books, etc., is approximately $9500. But the most important and immediate hurdle is raising $1500 for the initial tuition payment, administration fees, and books, needed by mid-June. I cannot do this without the Lord’s help and guidance, and your help.
