My name is Johan van Wyk and I am a resident at one of the CPOA (Cape Peninsula Organisation for the Aged) frail care welfare facilities, “Oakhaven Place”

My goal is to raise enough money to aid with the fixing up of the bathroom floors which are tiled and EXTREMELY slippery and dangerous. I would also like to be able to assist in the purchasing of new crockery and cutlery for our kitchen. I, with the aid of CPOA head office, am prepared to personally oversee and keep a record of the spending of the money. CPOA is a non-profit organisation overseen by the CPOA Board of Governors and their elected Council of volunteers but I would like to do this separately on my own as a concerned individual.

This particular residence is for the lesser frail, located in Heideveld, Cape Town, South Africa and consists of a 78-bed Frail Care facility.

Any money donated, or service offered will be greatly appreciated.

Volunteers play an important role in assisting CPOA with the work they do for us elderly and their commitment is much appreciated by all.
