In 1993, Riverside County Police arrested, charged and convicted Orlando Watley for crimes he did not commit. Arrested at 19 and incarcerated for 25 years, Orlando has maintained his innocence and must be set FREE.
Investigation reveals that Orlando Watley is innocent, and that his trial was tainted by prosecutorial misconduct, false testimony, fabricated dna evidence and ineffective assistance of counsel.

In 1993, there was public outcry of a predominantly white affluent
Coachella Valley community to make any arrest for an unsolved triple
homicide. Orlando Watley was targeted and arrested along with four
others. Orlando was targeted and a warrant was used to forcibly draw
blood from him, which was used to fabricate and falsify DNA blood
evidence against him. All 5 were charged and given jail time,
although all maintain their innocence. ** One of the co-defendants
were recently released after a California innocence organization
assisted in having DNA retested which proved his innocence. ** The
same police involved in the fabrication of DNA blood evidence against
Orlando Watley has a lawsuit against him and will be heard in a
California court in July 2019. Orlando Watley is innocent and must be
let free. 
Orlando Watley has survived the last 25 years of his life wrongfully imprisoned in California's Maximum Security mainline prison system, while maintaining his innocence, his sanity, his honour and dignity while supporting and defending this fellow Native brothers on the mainline with him, while upholding his duties to his family and Native Peoples and community beyond the walls of the Iron House.
